The Airborne and Special Operations Museum and the new State Veteran’s Park!
The Airborne and Special Operations Museum, affectionately known as ASOM, is one of our region’s top attractions and brings thousands of people downtown every year. The new North Carolina State Veteran’s Park debuted on July 4, 2011 and serves as the first state park dedicated to military veterans.
