About DTA

We envision Downtown as an economically and culturally vibrant destination.

We will unite the community to promote and advocate business, residential and cultural life in the heart of our city.

The Cool Springs Downtown District is a not-for-profit membership advocacy organization leading the efforts to revitalize and strengthen the core of the city through business recruitment and support, economic development, marketing, and special events. There are many exciting events happening downtown.

Become a scary ghoul in the annual Zombie Walk, take a Carriage Ride with Santa, enjoy Children’s Trick-or-Treat Downtown or shop downtown on Sundays. Walk through the Field of Honor and pay homage to our military heroes.

Celebrated on the fourth Friday of every month, Fourth Friday transforms downtown Fayetteville into a delight for all the senses. With an emphasis on the arts and entertainment, Fourth Friday offers downtown visitors a unique assortment of street entertainment, art and music.

Horse-drawn carriages roll up and down Hay Street, carrying shoppers the old fashioned way by merchants, artisans and vendors of all sorts to delightful treats during the Annual Dickens Holiday in November. Discover downtown urban design at the annual Downtown Loft Tour in December. Visitors can take tour of the incredible display of downtown urban living and design and vote for the Best Dressed Loft.

Shop. Eat. Play. Live. There’s something for everyone in downtown Fayetteville.
